- Abstract
The article expresses the reaction of the author to a response to his paper from Claire Lefebvre. He stated that in his paper he observed that Fongbe grammar is reproduced much more in Saramaccan than in Haitian. According to him, lacking in the response is a straight address at the fact the same kind of differential effect from European languages makes a significant dissimilarities in the extent to which Saramaccan matches Fongbe in contrast to how the Haitian does. He added that Lefebre's response sought to recognize that some Creoles are more shaped by their lexifiers.
