- Abstract
This study examines the impact of digital technologies on education and the behavior of emerging generations, with a special focus on Millennials and the challenges faced by higher education teachers. The central problem investigated is the transformation induced by the digital era in education and behavior, identifying the difficulties and opportunities arising from the integration of technology in the educational context. The general objective was to analyze these changes and propose strategies for an effective incorporation of technology in education. The methodology adopted was a systematic literature review, allowing for a detailed analysis of relevant studies on the topic. Three works were essential for this analysis: the behavioral transformation of Millennials, the use of mobile devices in language learning, and the challenges of higher education teachers in adopting digital technologies. The results revealed that Millennials are redefining behavioral and corporate standards, mobile devices present both opportunities and challenges in language learning, and educators face difficulties in integrating digital technologies. It is concluded that, although technology offers significant opportunities for education, a balanced approach is importante to address the associated challenges. Educational systems must adapt in an innovative way, meeting the needs of students and educators in the digital age.
