- Abstract
The article focuses on "Layli and Majnun"'s story includes thirteen miniature paintings along with the nastaliq text. It mentions Adel T. Adamova, curator of medieval Persian art at the Hermitage, observed that most previous scholarly discussion of the 1431 Khamsa has treated the images as independent pictures. It also mentions the relation between text and image in order to understand how the miniaturist's interpretations to reinforce the textual narrative.
