- Authors

- Abstract
The article reports on Fan-powered terminal units (FPTUs) used in commercial buildings which can be constant or variable airflow. Constant airflow FPTUs use either electronically commutated motors (ECMs) or permanent split capacity (PSC) motors and Variable airflow FPTUs use ECMs. Other topics discussed include performance of the series and parallel FPTUs and Modeling the Variable Airflow FPTU and Modeling Leakage From the Parallel FPTUs and Selection of the Input Modeling Parameters.
