- Abstract
A wide review of the literature affirms that innovation activities are propelled by the networks of cooperation that the company establishes with a myriad of actors. Hence the emphasis on cooperation as an important determinant of innovation activities. It should be emphasized that partnerships that provide for cooperation in R&D and innovation become the cornerstone of innovation dynamics. To support this paradigm in the Algerian context, we conducted a field study with agribusiness companies in Bejaia. The results of our survey by questionnaire indicate the virtual absence of cooperation in innovation activity due essentially to the impossibility of forming innovation networks and the non-existence of gateways or intermediate structures supposed to link research activity with that of innovation.
