- Abstract
The article focuses on net zero energy homes, that reduce energy consumption, move towards 100 percent renewable energy and provide healthier indoor environment, and discusses how they can become the norm instead of the exception. It discusses increasing demand of consumers for super insulation, more efficient appliances and solar power, making appraisers give value to these features, and banks seeing advantage of borrowers having more cash flow for mortgage repayment resulting from savings.
