- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of high-fidelity simulation (SIM) to promote patient safety at McMaster Children's Hospital in Canada. It mentions that the SIM program was developed as a result of the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) which aims to intensify health care education through Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and to promote patient safety in PICU. Among the strategies used in SIM include encouraging leadership on nurses with formal education an experience in pediatric care.
