- Abstract
The research proposes an orientation program to contribute to the development of perceived self-efficacy in academic situations of students of the Pedagogy-Psychology career of the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas. The program adapts to the needs and possibilities of the students, constitutes an alternative of educational innovation for Higher Education. A qualitative methodology was used, interviewing, observation and case studies were used as a method. The evaluation of needs in the diagnostic stage revealed potentialities and shortcomings of the information sources of selfefficacy, specifically the achievements of execution and the vicarious experience. The program was implemented from three modes of educational guidance: educational talk, group orientation workshops, psycho-pedagogical consultations. The planned techniques allowed the conscious transformation of the perception of oneself to face academic situations. It is evaluated positively from its effectiveness.
