- Abstract
The article presents a case study of six dogs presented with multiple lesions of patchy alopecia due to Microsporum canis (M. canis) infection and were evaluated with dermoscopy. Topics include no abnormalities on physical examination and no treatment with systemic or local antimicrobial agent before visit, common findings from dermoscopy such as broken and opaque hairs characterized by sharp and homogeneous thickness; and confirmed presence of spores and hyphae along the hair shaft.
