- Abstract
The ruptured omphalocele is a rare malformation that should be diagnosed prenatally in order to plan delivery and treatment at a dedicated centre with experienced neonatologists and pediatric surgeons available. Obstetric ultrasound showed the abdominal wall defect with free bowel loops in the amniotic cavity concordant with a ruptured omphalocele.
