- Abstract
The magnetic structure near the singularity center of Bloch point in a ferromagnetic cylindrical nanowire is determined. Estimates are made for the critical values of the radius at which the transition from a transverse domain wall (DW) and an asymmetric DW to a domain wall with Bloch point occurs. It is found out that a DW with Bloch point forms at radii more than 2 × 10 2 nm and 4.6 × 10 2 nm in iron and nickel nanowires, respectively. These values indicate the possibility of practical application of the predicted results in these systems.
