- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 50-year-old woman with allergic contact dermatitis from sodium metabisulfite due to her work in a fast food restaurant. It discloses that the woman undergoes patch test with North American Contact Dermatitis Group and reveals her positive reaction to sodium metabisulfite. It also discusses the case of other worker and professionals with same occupational exposure and suggests on routine performance of patch test to determine their exposure condition.
