- Abstract
A biopsy specimen showed intimal thickening and obliterative vasculitis by prominent eosinophil accumulation within the vessel, and a lymphoid follicle outside the artery (d, Hematoxylin and eosin, ×20). Abundant eosinophil accumulation in the vasculitis sites suggests the significant role of eosinophils in the pathogenesis of JTAE possibly by tissue damage I via i granule proteins or reactive oxygen species.
