- Abstract
The article reports on the announcement made by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages that it chosen Melissa Tobey LaBelle as the recipient of the University of Montreal Summer 2002 Study Scholarship in Quebec, and Ron Pitzen for the 2002 Cemanahuac Educational Community Scholarship in Cuernavaca, Mexico. LaBelle was a high school teacher of French at Newtown High School in Connecticut, while Pitzen was a Spanish teacher and World Languages Department chairman at Big Foot High School in Walworth, Wisconsin.
