- Abstract
Conveyor systems in factories are under intensive study. Most typical conveyor systems comprise transfer machines and for intelligent machines, among which the latter is wore important for fully automated factories. The linear motor satisfies the preceding requirements. The most commonly used suspension systems are rollers, conveyors, wheel and rail. Linear motors and air suspended levitating systems art also being used more frequently inside a clean rooms. Magnetic levitation systems are under intensive study for ultrahigh speed railway. There are two types of magnetic levitation systems, namely, inductive repulsion type and attraction type. The latter type is more suited for conveyer systems inside a factory.
