- Abstract
This article discusses a study that investigated the incidence of nausea and vomiting caused by PARP inhibitors in patients with gynecologic cancer. The study found that the overall incidence of vomiting was 16.3%, with higher rates in the olaparib group compared to the niraparib group. The authors suggest that olaparib and niraparib can be classified as low emetogenic risk and that prophylactic antiemetic therapy may not be necessary. However, the study has limitations and further research is needed to evaluate the efficacy of specific antiemetic drugs.
