- Authors
HÜTTER, REINHARD
- Abstract
The article focuses on the views of Italian theologian Thomas Aquinas who advanced an account of the virtue of religion which is theologically profound, philosophically robust, and relevant for a context in which doing without religion has become a widespread phenomenon. It mentions that he takes the virtue of religion to be indispensable for attaining the surpassing final end to which divine providence has ordained humanity, genuine and everlasting happiness in communion with God.
