- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a retained piece of glass in pleural cavity of a 16-year-old male who suffered from a penetrating chest injury. It states that the patient underwent seven chest X-rays, and he returned to the emergency department with severe chest pain, another chest- X-ray showed a radiopaque foreign body. He was taken to the operating room for removal of the foreign body.
