- Abstract
The article discusses a study which compared transcystic laparoscopic bile duct clearance (TC-CBDE) with laparoscopic rendezvous (RV) in the treatment of cholecystocholedocholithiasis (CCL). Patients were divided into the TC-CBDE and RV groups. Results of the study showed that there were cases of bile leakage and pneumonia in the TC-CBDE group. It also found that intraoperative costs were higher for patients in the RV group than those in the TC-CBDE group.
