- Abstract
The article presents comments of several authors over the "Towards a Set of Design Principles for Executive Compensation Contracts" article by authors Yaowen Shan and Terry Walter. It states comparison of Chief Executive officers (CEO) pay with other professionals such as sportsperson along with concerns over CEOs pay scrutiny through management of shareholders equity. It mentions involvement of compensation committee (CC) in negotiation of CEO's remuneration with terms of contract.
