- Authors
Jacobs, David E.
- Abstract
The article discusses efforts to prevent lead poisoning in both private and public housing. Topics include public perceptions that lead poisoning has been resolved and does not exist in most areas despite scientific evidence proving that lead poisoning is a widespread problem as of 2019, the efficacy of concerted public actions against lead poisoning when implemented and enforced, and the high risk of lead exposure for refugee children both from their native lands and low-income U.S. housing.
