- Authors
Burke, Adam A.; Wilson, Daniel G.
- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examines the use of inkjet-generated film for imaging flexographic photopolymer plates at Print Media Lab of Illinois State University in Illinois. The study analyzes the dot formation, tonal ranges and overall suitability of both imageset film and inkjet film for various applications. It is found out that inkjet-generated films show a good performance when applied to imaging photopolymer flexographic plates and do not reproduce highlight dots and shadow dots.
