- Abstract
The article examines the impact of the U.S. Supreme Court's 2006 decision in the case "eBay v. MercExchange" the compulsory licensing laws defined by the Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS). Topics discussed include patent law remedies; laws automatically granting permanent injunctions in patent infringement disputes; and use of compulsory licensing as a remedy in patent infringement lawsuits.
