- Abstract
The article presents a research on the role of Indian films, Bollywood and Punjabi films, and British networks in the shaping of Indian Sikh diaspora in Novellara, Italy, focusing on the association of films with issues of migration and cultural identity. It suggests that the modern international subjectivities are reshaped by mass migration and mass media, with mass-mediated imagination as the critical agent in reshaping of Indian Sikh diasporic identity.
