- Abstract
The article reports a study which examined the effects of gluteal taping on time-distance (TD) parameters in patients with chronic stroke having abnormal (hemiplegic) gait. The results revealed that use of gluteal taping produces significant improvement in the TD parameters in chronic stroke patients indicating that this is beneficial for patients with hemiplegia. This study provides evidence that gluteal taping is worthy of further investigation as a strategy for improving hip extension.
