- Abstract
The article discusses the court case Larabee v. Governor of the State, wherein the compensation packages of four state judges were said to be allegedly enacted with the practice of linking unrelated issue of salary adjustment with compensation by the legislature in New York. It mentions that the judges stated two causes of their action: alleged violation of Article VI of the New York Constitution, and the linkage issue. It states that the Supreme Court found the violation of the constitution.
