- Abstract
The article discusses cases related to criminal procedures in which the U.S. Supreme Court made its decision on the basis of conservative and liberal directions. It informs about several cases including Minneci v. Pollard, Chappell v. Wallace, and Wilkie v. Robbins and concludes that the liberal-conservative divide does not govern every case in the U.S. It mentions barriers to tort claims against the state and federal public prisons and fall of these tort barriers while suing private prisons.
