- Authors
Dorf, Michael C.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the impact of the phased-out laws including Jim Crow laws which mandated racial segregation law, patriarchy and slavery laws on the current laws. It discusses several U.S. Supreme Court cases including Brown v. Board of Education, Green v. County School Board of New Kent County and Crawford v. Washington. It informs how the text of the Fourteenth Amendment influences the Equal Protection Clause for sex discrimination. The U.S. still follows the tainted slavery laws.
