Are We the Problem?
- Authors
Upchurch, Michael E.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the drifting away of the lawyers of Alabama from the common purpose of unification of bar due to the representation of special interest and adoption of the bias nature and agendas of the clients. The separation of lawyers is due to the posing of lawyers as plaintiff lawyers or defense lawyers and also as criminal defense attorneys or prosecutors. Information on the impact of fair legislation, court funding and non-partisan elections on the drifting is also presented.
