- Abstract
The article discusses several antiquities. Several different examples of English artillery weapons are examined, with photographs accompanying the notes. These weapons include several howitzers and a cannon. The markings on these weapons are detailed. Markers used to identify dead soldiers during the U.S. Civil War are talked about. The author explores how bodies were removed during the Civil War as well. The article also discusses an early colonial steel helmet. The helmet was retrieved from a trench within Colonial National Historical Park at Yorkstown, Virginia.
