- Abstract
A case study of a 74-year-old multi-morbid patient with congestive heart failure is presented. Her transesophageal echo-cardiography (TOE) revealed a severe aortic valve (AV) stenosis, a pulmonary hypertension and ventricular ejection fraction. She underwent severe paravalvular mitral regurgitation (MR) from medial part of the mitral annulus through transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). Her TOE after TAVI revealed complete closure of the paravalvular leak (PVL) with no residual leak.
