- Abstract
The article explores the relationships between renewable energy tax incentives and water consumption in the U.S. It notes that tax incentives for renewable energy sources should describe for water consumption and the potential for reducing carbon emissions. It presents a review of water use statistics for traditional energy sources and a comparison of water use from several renewable energy sources as well as several recommendations for legislative action.
