Provides information on the characterization of the role of arcuate nucleus (ARC) cocaine and amphetamine-regulated transcript (CART) in the long-term regulation of food intake and brown adipose tissue. Way in which the role played by ARC CART was characterized; Result that occurred from repeated intra-arcuate CART peptide injections; Use of targeted gene transfer.
