- Authors
ROSENBLOOM, KEVIN B.
- Abstract
In the article, the author discusses a unique procedure to facilitate the use of biomechanics in podiatry. Also cited are the importance of focusing on the biomechanical roots of pathology rather than surgical methods to effectively treat patients, the Biomechanical Intelligence Quotient (BIQ) model developed by the author to help podiatrists in identifying podiatric and biomechanical conditions, and the use of BIQ to determine the root cause of plantar fasciitis as an example.
