Printing History 34 is a journal that showcases research on printing and the book from various cultures. The issue highlights the Jikji to Gutenberg Project, which explores movable metal type printing in Korea before its appearance in Europe. The journal also features articles on the work of Native American Sequoyah, the Samson Press in England, the creation of the first Tamil encyclopedia, and women in printing and publishing. Additionally, it includes reviews of books and exhibitions related to printing history. The Library of Congress has established the Copper Torch Press, a replica common press, as part of a new program on the history of communication.
