Gender Differences in High Performance Sport.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the views of Claudia Kugelmann, a professor at the University Erlangen-Nürnberg, regarding the gender differences in high performance sport during her lecture at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. Kugelmann said that high performance sport is naturally for men and noted that women in high performance sport have to accent their femininity more. Furthermore, Kugelmann pointed out that top female athletes are almost as the same level as male athletes.
