- Abstract
The article refers to a study of patients with arthritis and secondary arthrofibrosis of the knee joint, who underwent arthroscopic adhesiolysis and manipulation. Patients with a flexion of less than 90 degree, and any limitation in extension were chosen for the procedure. The study concludes that arthroscopic adhesiolysis followed by gentle manipulation of the stiff knee secondary to rheumatic conditions improves range of motion.
