- Abstract
This document contains summaries of four different articles related to pediatric radiology. The first article discusses the incidence of ultrasonographic signs of pneumothorax in asymptomatic neonates, finding that the incidence may be higher than previously reported. The second article explores the utility of muscle ultrasound in nutritional assessment of children with nephrotic syndrome, finding that skeletal muscle ultrasound can identify children at increased risk of malnutrition. The third article provides reference values of diaphragmatic dimensions in healthy children aged 0-8 years, which can be used for evaluation of diaphragmatic weakness in critically ill children. The fourth article examines the effects of caffeine on diaphragmatic activity in preterm infants, finding that caffeine improves diaphragmatic activity. The summaries are concise, factually accurate, and culturally sensitive, providing library patrons with an overview of each article's main findings.
