- Abstract
The process design of straddle-type monorail vehicle base in fully automatic operation mode is explored. This paper puts forward new requirements for the design of monorail vehicle base demanded by fully automatic operation, analyzes the influence of fully automatic operation of monorail vehicles on the design scale of vehicle base, and points out that the number of operation vehicles and maintenance vehicles will be reduced, the parking scale will be increased, and the maintenance procedures of monorail vehicles will be affected. Based on the division of automatic operation area and non-automatic operation area, four section types and eight plane layout schemes of sequential parallel layout, sequential longitudinal layout, inverted reverse layout and through layout are comprehensively summarized, which lays a good foundation for further researches. This paper also discusses the design of operation and maintenance facilities of straddle-type monorail vehicle base, such as operation depot, monthly inspection and wheel changing depot, maintenance depot, working garage, car washing line, test line, pull-out line, etc., as well as the new standby control center.
