- Abstract
Electrolytic manganese slag has large emissions and high soluble salt content, posing serious environmental risks. In recent years, with the continuous decrease of manganese ore grade in China, the slag quantity of manganese metal per ton is increasing.In order to realize the harmless manganese slag, promote the mass consumption and comprehensive utilization of manganese slag efficiently, the lime curing method was used to treat manganese slag innocuously.The effects of adding amount of quicklime, reaction time, air temperature and additive amount on the removal or fixation of ammonia nitrogen and manganese in manganese slag were studied.The results showed that the harmless treatment of electrolytic manganese slag was carried out for electrolytic manganese slag under the conditions of lime addition of 10%, stirring time of 60 min, air tem⁃ perature of 60 ℃ and additive phosphoric acid of 2.8 mL.The leaching toxicity test results showed that the concentration of manganese in the leaching solution of the horizontal shock method and the nitric acid and sulfuric acid method was 0.025 mg/L and 0.043 mg/L, respectively, and the concentration of ammonia nitrogen was 11.75 mg/L and 14.26 mg/L, both of which reached the first class of GB 8978—1996“Standard of National Integrated Wastewater Discharge”.
