- Abstract
The article discusses the study which examines the enhanced soil biodegradation of prosulfocarb herbicide in the barley crop. The objective of the study was to determine the effect of applying the prosulfocard herbicide to the weed control efficiency of the soil. It uses the 40x40 meter field divided into 10x10 meter plots in which four repeated prosulfocarb treatments schemes were applied at different frequencies and intervals during the preceding year of barley crops sowing. It concludes that prosulfocarb treatment must not be given repeatedly at too high frequency on the same soil because the weeds control effeminacy would be reduced in the enhanced soil biodegradation.
