- Abstract
The article presents the case study of a male infant delivered by cesarean section at 37 weeks of gestation. Despite having no family history of microcephaly, retinitis pigmentosa, or consanguinity, when the baby was 20 weeks, microcephaly was detected by ultrasonography. The article further discusses congenital toxoplasmosis which is also called TORCH (toxoplasm, rubella, cytomegalovirus, and herpes simplex) syndrome and causes diverse symptoms.
