- Abstract
The article offers information on the history, purpose and significance of an environmental tax or green tax policy system and its effect upon the environmental degradation in China. It informs that the industrialization, urbanization, and pollution had led to environmental degradation as well as threatens public health and nature in major developing countries. It informs that the green tax policy will help in water and energy conservation as well a ecological and environmental protection.
