- Abstract
In this paper, taking an example of an actual dry core reactor,3-D electromagnetic simulation modles was established, and the basic assumptions and boundary conditions were given. Using the finite element analysis, calculated the inductances of core reactors under different air gap sizes and the flux density vector, and compared with the measured data, and proved the corrections of simulation modles and results. Then, taking the inductance as a main study, we calculated the inductances of core reactors under different air gap sizes and different core diameters, gave the curves of the inductances vary with air gap zises and core diameters. Finally, combining with the formulae and the basic assumptions, we calculated the air gap equivalent cross-sectional area expanded coefficients, studied the air gap equivalent cross-sectional area whose expanded coefficients vary with air gap zises and core diameters. The conclusions in this paper can provide some technical support for core reactor design.
