- Abstract
To meet the demands of long distance broadband data transmission under aeronautical channel, a digital broadband receiver with 8PSK modulation scheme is designed by using single carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE), including transmission frame synchronization, carrier recovery, timing recovery, channel estimation and frequency domain equalization. Meanwhile, for flexible consideration, the variable rate ability is designed by using numerical interpolation method. Based on implementation optimization for Xilinx field-programmable gate array (FPGA) platform, the broadband receiver is accomplished, whose transmission rate covers 112. 5 ~900 Mbit/ s. Numerical simulation analysis and hardware tests show that the receiver has a very good performance, and the SC-FDE scheme has the ability to well compensate the effects of multipath propagation and fits for applying in high dynamic aeronautical broadband wireless data transmission systems.
