- Abstract
The article explores the complementary roles of stories and science in advancing nature conservation science and practice. The authors expect conservation interventions recognizing the synergies between science and storytelling to achieve more substantial biological and social outcomes. The synergies are demonstrated with a story from Cabo Pulmo, a national park in Baja California Sur, Mexico. The role of scientists as storytellers is discussed.
