Most of the minor surgeries included were dental extractions, incision and drainage of abscess, or simple excisions. The efficacy of BAY 94-9027 in providing bleeding control during minor surgery was primarily based on each surgeon's assessment of haemostasis compared with an expectation in patients without haemophilia undergoing comparable procedures. In patients with haemophilia A, minor surgical interventions are vital for improving well-being and may prevent major surgical procedures.
