- Abstract
The article presents a study to determine whether the performance of three-dimensional (3D) power Doppler angiography (PDA) for predicting malignancy in vascularized cystic-solid or solid adnexal masses was affected by sphere volume. It mentions that the study collected data on 138 women evaluated by 3D-PDA prior to surgery. It indicates that 117 or 82% masses were malignant and 26 or 18% were benign and concludes that the performance of 3D-PDA was not affected by sphere volume.
