- Abstract
The article discusses research which examined link between smoking status, passive smoking exposure in adulthood and childhood, and risk for rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Topics explored include the clinical characteristics and genetic factors which contribute to RA development, the analysis of risk associated with both active and passive smoking exposure, and the incident RA risk based on smoking status.
