- Authors
Kessler, Diane C.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the 1957 and 2007 North American Conference on Faith and Order congresses, both held at the Oberlin College in Ohio. It notes that the theme of the 1957 conference was about the nature of unity while that of the 2007 conference was about the faith and order experience in the U.S. It mentions that the attendees of both meeting did not participate as individuals but as designated representatives of their churches. It states that one difference between the two meetings was the degree of preparatory study.
